Readers’ Choice Winner for July

Our Readers’ Choice initiative seems to be a popular one – there are clearly quite a few of you keen to popularise your favourite books, and we’re delighted to be able to provide a platform.

Of course, some of you are clearly taking this far more seriously than others! Either that, or there’s a small group out there with way too many favourite books. All of which is by way of saying that our winner for July has been on the podium before. So, stand forth . . .

Nick Larter who chose Edgar Pangborn‘s wonderful collection of linked short stories Still I Persist in Wondering – chosen by YOU, dear Reader, as the most clicked-on Readers’ Choice selection of the month.

Congratulations, Nick, you have won copies of July’s SF Masterworks, H. G. Wells‘ space adventure ur-text, The First Men in the Moon and John Crowley‘s extraordinary The Deep. Copies will be winging their way to you as soon as our carrier pigeon has finished its lunch.

If you have a personal favourite SF Gateway title that you’d like to see highlighted on the home page, just tweet us, email us or leave a message on the forum, giving us the title and why you love it in no more than 25 words and we’ll add you to the roster of Readers’ Choices.
