To celebrate the release of Arcanum Unbounded the more scifi and fantasy inclined of the internet’s booktubers have banded together to read it along with you. From Mistborn: Secret History and its big reveals for Kelsier, to a story of Elantris, The Emperor’s Soul, winner of its very own Hugo Award, right down to Edgedancer, the never before seen Stormlight novella – we’ll be devouring it all and then combing through for whatever Cosmere knowledge we can glean.
This is Brandon Sanderson’s first ever collection of short (well, shorter. It’s still Brandon) fiction. It hit shelves at the end of November and while Brandon himself tours America, from New York to Chicago, we thought those of us who can’t quite afford that plane ticket just yet could at least indulge ourselves in these latest glimpses into his worlds.

A combined collaborative video of first thoughts, hopes and expectations goes live today, Tuesday 6th of December and once you’ve watched it, the readalong will commence. To take part all you have to do is follow the hashtag #ArcanumReadalong and post your progress and thoughts as you go.
Halfway through the week a ‘listenalong’ video will be posted, featuring the live reactions of all three booktubers as the listen to the first four minutes of the Edgedancer audiobook and get an exciting new look at what else Rhosar has in store for us.
Finally the readalong will be wrapped up in a last video going live on Monday 12th December.
